Choose three from the list, and write a 5 paragraph essay that identifies 3 different topics covered in this course and how they relate to 3 different values from the list. For example, “In chapter __, we studied __; this relates to the “social value” of studying the humanities because _____.” You will do that three different times in the body of your essay.
Therefore, the essay follows this format:
Introduction paragraph – state your at the end of the paragraph
Body paragraph #1 – value of humanities from Holm et al. + one topic/reading/concept from the course (be specific)
Body paragraph #2 – value of humanities from Holm et al. + one topic/reading/concept from the course (be specific)
Body paragraph #3 – value of humanities from Holm et al. + one topic/reading/concept from the course (be specific)
Conclusion paragraph – restate what you said in the body
Times New Roman font, size 12, 1” margins, black ink, follow MLA formatting for citing the Holm et al. article and anything you reference, paraphrase, or quote from the course.
