The personal stories in MDM provide powerful arguments about why it is important for patients and their families to become their own advocates. From the film, what have you learned about being an informed patient? ( Be specific about the storytellers and their stories so know which examples you are talking about.)

Clearly, this is not a newly released documentary. looked for more updated ones which provided a wideangle lens on healthcare in the US, but could not find one that had anything different to report. Many of you work in healthcare or are caring for others and have some valuable real life experiences to share.  use your experience and wisdom to comment on:
